Merging two accounts with invalid email address

I have two accounts, knapsu (old) and knapsu-gmail (new). I would like to merge both accounts, unfortunately the email account for knapsu is no longer valid (my old university email was deleted). I would like to stay with account name knapsu. Can someone help me with this?

I've merged knapsu-gmail into knapsu and sent a confirmation request for the email address <email address hidden> because after the merge it was listed as needing confirmation
