Convert pantheon-desktop project to a project group

Asked by Maxwell Barvian

I just accidentally registered panthon-desktop as a project, when I intended it to be a project group. Could someone fix this for me?

Thanks.

Hi,

It is not possible to change a project into a project group. We can deactivate and rename the pantheon-desktop project and create a project group in its place. If you would like that to happen, please expand this question with the information listed at:

https://help.launchpad.net/ProjectGroups

Before doing so, please bear in mind that the current system does not allow a project to belong to multiple project groups. Therefore, the projects included in a notional "pantheon-desktop" group could not also belong to the existing https://launchpad.net/elementary project group.

thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'd like to just deactivate the project (nothing is in it currently) and create a new project group in it's place. The owners would be ~elementary-core.

Thanks a lot

Done and done.

The old project can be found here: https://launchpad.net/pantheon-desktop-deactivated
If you want to get rid of it, please turn it over (i.e. change the owner) to registry.
