Is it possible to download mailing list archives (i.e. as mbox files)?
I have just recently joined a launchpad mailing list, and would like to search, read and reply to emails from the mailing list that pre-date me joining the list (the easiest way for me to be able to do this would seem to be to download the archive and import to my mail client). The web interface to the archive is OK (but not great) for searching and reading the mailing list, but it seems impossible to reply to messages directly from the archive...
(such a facility is available in GNU MailMan)

Sorry, we don't provide that as an automated service. Team owners can request manual dumps of mailing list archives.
May I ask where to request the dump? Should we create a ticket for somebody or simply send an email to some admin? Thank you.

Any team member may request a dump by filing a Question on Launchpad.
Can you help with this problem?
Provide an answer of your own, or ask Matthew Bassett for more information if necessary.
