Moderation issue on Launchpad

The author of it is troll. However he offends other Launchpad members in his posts.
However he is offends Ubuntu community. He abuses Launchpad Answers.

So does Launchpad has moderation system or/and something like the "Alert" button?

In general, it is hard for us to evaluate if someone is abusing people on Launchpad.net or not. The only solution we can offer is disabling their account (though we'd first have to ask him to tone done his language; but that's a bit hard when you are not familiar with a language: don't be confused by my name in Cyrillic, I am Serbian :).

We can also remove individual comments, but if they are simply strong opinions instead of outright personal insults, I don't think we should do that. My personal experience with trolls is that you need to ignore them, and they'll go away.

Considering we are not native Russian speakers, we can't easily decide what is the action to take: we want to ensure Launchpad is a welcoming platform for all, but that means it's a welcoming platform for those that disagree with our opinions sometimes, as long as they are not behaving inappropriatelly.

I agree with you. It's hard to rate the message. But there are the posts such as #5, #8 and #10.

In post #5 there are words "НЕ ПИ-ДИ! УЧИСЬ КУЛЬТУРЕ ОБЩЕНИЯ С ЛЮДЬМИ !!!" which translates into English like "Don't f*ck speak with me! Learn to culture of speaking with another people !!!"

In post #8 there are a lot of abusive words like asshole, shitass, etc.. I think there is no need to repeat this words.

In post #10 he says that English language is f***ing one.

This guy firstly asking the help but he also abusing everyone. It's not good.

Anyway, I'm just only alerting about the accident. What to do - it's have to be your consideration.
