Running a separate launchpad script outside local network.

Can anyone tell me how to run launchpad code outside of my local network. I would like to use it to host open-source projects for a small community but they would be private until some progress is made, so hosting on Launchpad.net isn't what I'm looking for.

I got launchpad.dev to run on my Ubuntu machine, but can you tell me if I can make it acessible for my team and how.
