problems with ppa and upload

Our sftp server lost its gpg.conf. I am asking an admin ti recreate it.

The sftp server is back up.

(incidentally, it did succeed in actually uploading it - because it seemed to fail, i then uploaded a second time at now there are 2 in the queue.)

same here, dput started to fail somewhere between Apr 22~23.
All my dailies are impacted.
when doing several uploads in the same dput, it fails after uploading the 1st but before creating the associated .upload file.

Still broken for me too.
sadly, the launchpad devs/admins don't seem to care enough to fix the problem.
My workaround was to dput one source package at a time, and ignore the error + return code.
It works as the upload is complete before dput dies.

for me too I uploaded the same package 3 times because of the above error only to find it has succeeded at first attempt

To clarify (again). The error is misleading as the upload is actually successful. Sorry for the noise, the issue is weird indeed.

But the blog entry told us it is an improvement.

Just started getting this too! The .changes file gpg signature verification fails.

It looks like a problem on the server end. My machine says the signature is good, and the .deb uploads work fine:

Any yet the build worked no problem. If someone sees this message and has access to the logs, the upload was sometime after Mon 26 Sep 2011 12:37:28 PM EDT, and the package was phpmyadmin_3.4.5-1ubuntu1~lucid0

Dear all

This is an intermittent problem which is proving particularly hard to track down. It does NOT affect your uploads in any way, it's a harmless error message. The upload will still reach the PPA.

I'm also getting this error message since yesterday. Packages are uploading fine though.

I've got it as well, since last night. Uploading packages one by one in a loop.

Did anybody already file a bug report against launchpad for this?

Or might the cause be a problem in dput? I am using precise pangolin and dput 0.9.6

Oh... Sorry... found out just now that the fact that a bug is already filed is written at the top of this page.

I'm seeing it also, from multiple machines, running either Lucid or Maverick.

And for me, the uploads are currently NOT reaching my PPAs.

Seeing this here as well for the last few days.
