Code Import of geany project

Hello there,

the code import of geany stopped working last october (https://code.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/geany/trunk)

Can someone please look at that and maybe restart the import?

The import is failing because of a bug in the old, poorly understood and deprecated "CSCVS" importer. The simplest fix would be to create a new import (which will use the bzr-svn importer).

The only downside in doing so is that branches derived from the old import (if any exist - there do not appear to be any on Launchpad) will not be able to merge changes from the new import.

Does this sound like a viable option?

That sounds good to me, like you said there doesn't seem to be anyone using the old imported branch for work.

Should I just go and add a new import or will you do that? Thanks again.

I have:
 * renamed lp:~vcs-imports/geany/trunk to lp:~vcs-imports/geany/trunk-cscvs, and changed its status to Abandoned
 * created a new import as lp:~vcs-imports/geany/trunk
 * relinked lp:geany to the new import
