Private project in proprietary project

Asked by jftempo

The project https://launchpad.net/unifield-wm has a commercial license. Please could you make the project private (accessible only to members of this team: https://launchpad.net/~unifield-team).

If project could not be private, please set all branches private, and new branch private by default.

Thanks.

I have set the branch visibility policy to forbidden to make all branches private by default. unifield-team has a special rule that makes their branches private by default, but individual branches can be made public. You can subscribe users and teams to branches to give access. The users will also need permission to the branch that everything is stacked on...meaning a user must have permission to see the project's focus of development branch too.

Policy changes are not retro active; the existing branches will remain public. You can pull a copy of the branches, delete the branch from Lp, then re-push the branch the team's URL to make the branch private.

Can you help with this problem?
