Page not found after duplicate check

Hi,

I opened the bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/blueman/+bug/734932 and after some time it got tagged as duplicate. Thats ok, but the hyperlink to the main bug report doesn't work. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433741

While trying to link to the bug report 433741 in this question, launchpad returns that 433741 is a private bug. It would be nice if the main bug report gets set to public in order to enable other people to inform themselves.

The duplicate bug is private. Private bugs are reported as 404, not found. You can ask a bug supervisor for the project if the bug can be made public.

for those of us devs/programmers who could help solve it, keeping things private doesn't help much in the effort of supplying patches. if it is private because it's a security bug, the fact that this bug has been open for years now is not at all encouraging.
