Hi,

If your PGP key has already been imported into your Launchpad profile, but you previously deactivated it, you must reactivate it, not import it again.

Visit https://launchpad.net/~innerchild/+editpgpkeys, where you should see a "Deactivated keys" section, where you can check the box next to 2048R/61366B04 and click the Reactivate Key button.

If you do not see 2048R/61366B04 listed there, it means that PGP key is registered to a different Launchpad user profile. If you own the other profile, you could merge them by following the instructions at https://launchpad.net/people/+requestmerge, provided you have access to the primary email address of the other profile. If not, you will need to comment in this support tracker and intervention from a Launchpad Administrator will be required.

The email sent to you should include instructions on what to do next, if I remember it correctly.

Please explain in more detail what you are unsure how to do.

Ah. You generated a new key. In this case, you do *not* want to reactivate the old one in Launchpad. Upload your new key to the keyserver (gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --send-key E5A26136), then visit https://launchpad.net/~innerchild/+editpgpkeys, and import the new key, specifying the new fingerprint value.

For future reference, it is more usual for people to back up their PGP key somewhere safe, and restore the old one and continue using it after a fresh installation.

i got this message after try import my new Fingerprint

Launchpad could not import your OpenPGP key

    * Did you enter your complete fingerprint correctly? (Help with fingerprints)
    * Is your key in the Ubuntu keyserver yet? You may have to wait between ten minutes (if you pushed directly to the Ubuntu key server) and one hour (if you pushed your key to another server). (Help with publishing keys)

As the message says, you may have to wait up to ten minutes - try again now to import your new key/

Reactivating your old key is only possible if you still have possession of your old private key. From what you said about reinstallation, you seemed to be implying that you did not. If so, no, you cannot reactivate it.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Innerchild for more information if necessary.
