how do I upload a screen shot?

How can I upload a screenshot that will help describe my problem? Thanks.

You can use an online image paste service, like this one:

http://imagepaste.nullnetwork.net/

Note that your uploads need to be < 1MB, so you might need to use a program like gimp to resize them, if you can't upload it first go.

As mycae says, there is currently no way to attach an image (or any other type of file) to a Launchpad Question. See bug 77123.

After you upload your image to a site like http://imagepaste.nullnetwork.net/ or http://postimage.org, you can link to it from a Launchpad Question.

If you have screenshots larger than 1 MB, then the best way to reduce their size is probably to convert them to a different image format. The PNG format (fully supported by GIMP and most other raster image editing utilities) is a good, compact format for screenshots.
