If you requested an ubuntu CD it lacks in some language features. If you requested a DVD one, it's more complete.

After installing the CD one, you must go in your systems menu and select the option for supported languages (i don't know exactly the names of menu entries in chinese nor english) there you have the chance to download and install the language packages for a wide sort of languages (do each language at a time, dapper and edgy sometimes failed adding two or more languages, dunno why, and i didn't tried on feisty).

Note one thing, only the main programs have language support provided.

You must search directly with third party product providers (java for example, go and ask sun, or use the english one instead).

isn't there the traslation you are looking for? do you know those languages? then join that language translation project and give us a hand!!!

for your answer,
I will try it after i get the CD.
I have no a R/W CD-ROM and even a movable storage equipment which could contain such a
cd-size file. So all i can do is wait...or how could i getting start now?

About the CDs... i think is much better if you find somebody to help you to download an burn this CD, maybe you can download the DVD iso and found somebody to help you to burn it. I have them, but maybe you live far away...

The other option is to install an old ubuntu and upgrade it through the network (using repositories). But personally i don't recommend it.

About joining a translation project, just go to translations here in launchpad (https://translations.launchpad.net/) and join.

That's all.
