"Answers"-link does not find questions

Asked by lborgman

The link to "Answers" in the project nXhtml does not lead to the answers any more, see

  https://launchpad.net/nxhtml

However it is possible to find the FAQs

This is not a but in Launchpad's code. This is a question about how a project is setup.

/nxhtml does not use Launchpad answers so the links to the questions and FAQs are removed. You can enable Launchpad answers using the configure support link found on the project's front page and on https://answers.launchpad.net/nxhtml

But previously the questions where shown and there was a link to the FAQ. Why are they not there any more? I do not thinkI have not changed anything in the projekt setup.

And what will happen if I now change it, will the old questions and FAQ disappear then - or will they reappear?

Launchpad was updated a few months ago to require project maintainer to state where services are hosted. Many users were reporting bug and asking questions, but no one was subscribed to see them. This also helps users find services that are hosted on other sites.

The front pages will appear. The questions and FAQs were just hidden from searching and browsing.

Ok, thanks. I just changed and the questions reappeared. Thanks for the help, but I can't understand why Launchpad decided to suddenly hide them instead of continue showing them.
