launchpad user display name is wrong

Hi,

every time I contribute to launchpad my user's display name is not the right one...
I am referenced as a user who doesn't have a launchpad account...

sinzui checked in the db and is certain that ~carlos-smile should be merged into ~carloschebair

well,
this is my launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~carloschebair
where you can see my name is: "Carlos @ Smile.fr"

and here you can find some of my last contributions: https://translations.launchpad.net/openobject-addons/trunk/+lang/es
in the "By" column, you can see "Carlos-smile" and if you click on it...no user related info...
even if am logged with "carloschebair"

but when I look at my latest activity, it's taken into consideration:https://launchpad.net/~carloschebair/+karma
but it doesn't appear with 'Carlos-smile'...

so as a conclusion...I don't know where the "Carlos-smile" comes from...

Hi Carlos. You need to merge your accounts. Try this link: https://launchpad.net/people/+requestmerge?field.dupe_person=carlos-smile . With this, you should be able to merge carlos-smile and carloschebair.

I believe the https://launchpad.net/~carlos-smile profile was created for you when the translations were imported. It is unclaimed. It must have an email address that is not associated with your profile.

Visit the page and choose "Are you Carlos-smile?". That will start the merge process to merge the other profile into your profile. Merge will require use to have access to the other email address; you will be sent an email to that address to verify you want to complete the merge. If you do not have access to the older email address, then an Lp admin can help complete the merge.

I already did the merge process...and didn't receive any mail...at any of my email adresses...

In fact, I just noticed that the the email linked to the old user 'carlos-smile' which is '<email address hidden> doesn't exist, can anyone change it to <email address hidden>?

The email was sent to <email address hidden> which is not an address associated with your Lp profile (it is not listed among your addresses). Check your filters on that address.

can you just associate the 'carlos-smile' with '<email address hidden>'
