Migration of our Bug-Trackers from SourceForge to Launchpad

Asked by Yuv

Hello

After the incredible success of the migration of Hugin's bug tracker from SourceForge to Launchpad, we'd like to migrate two related dependencies as well:
- Enblend/Enfuse (runtime dep) to https://launchpad.net/enblend
- Libpano (build dep) to https://launchpad.net/panotools

The admins and contributors of the projects overlap 80% and we do not need to try Launchpad, we already love it and we are OK with going live ASAP.

I discussed this with Gavin Panella and we agreed that on your end of the process you'd simply continue right away from staging to production without having us look at staging.

Both trackers are a magnitude smaller than Hugins and get much less activity.

The export for Enblend is at http://www.photopla.net/enblend101203.xml and is likely to stay unchanged until Monday (the migration date agreed with Gavin). Worse case I'll move the deltas manually.

For Panotools, the admins have all consented to the move but I am still waiting for them to implement one of the following:
- export their bugs and post them to this thread or to a new question on Launchpad
- grant me the necessary rights to run the export on the SF side
They will advise.

Thank you

Last famous words: "unlikely to change". After months of silence the tracker had an unpredicted spike in activity. Here is the final file for import: http://www.photopla.net/enblend_final_101206.xml

The enblend import is done, you just need to configure its bug tracker at https://bugs.launchpad.net/enblend/+configure-bugtracker to see them.

I'll leave this question open, awaiting the panotools data.

Thank you. Everything fine with Enblend. I'll ping the Panotools admins again.

And here is the panotools data. Sorry for the delay. If you can get us live ASAP I'll be very thankful. I have locked down the old tracker already. http://www.photopla.net/panotools_final101206.xml

Panotools is done. As with enblend, the bug tracker needs configuring at https://bugs.launchpad.net/panotools/+configure-bugtracker.
