ayatana bugmail won't unsubscribe me

I was subscribed to the ayatana project , I unsubscribed from the project and their bugmail but for some reason I remained on the mailing list . The ayatana page does not show me as subscribed so I cannot edit the bugmail list , I am listed as sojourner there , someone with admin authority please get me off that list .

Projects do not have mailing lists. Team do. I can see that you are not subscribed to any teams or their lists since you do not have a link to participation from your profile page (https://launchpad.net/~itsmealso2/+participation).

I do not see any name like sojourner subscribed to the ayatana team's list: https://launchpad.net/~ayatana/+mailing-list-subscribers

I unsubscribed from the team and the bug mail , for the ayatana project they are seperate . the unsubscribe from the team worked from the bug mail it didn't work . see the following quotes from 2 emails , the first is from this question to which ofcourse I am subscribed .

the second is from an email from the ayatana bug mail list . I recieved this email and 24 other since I posted this question last night .

Neither of these emails came from a mailing list. They such emails state the team/list name and provide a link to the team page to unsubscribe. You were not getting bug mail because of a team.

The bug lists you as "Also notified", which means you are subscribed to a project or project group be email. Looking at the capitalisation in the message, to all bugs in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana. Use the Edit bug mail link on that page to remove yourself.
