no access to email address of account "seife" anymore

Asked by Stefan Seyfried

I created a new account today (https://launchpad.net/~stefan-seyfried) and then wanted to change my "nickname" to "seife", just to find that it's already taken.

Actually, I am The Artist Formerly Known As <email address hidden>, but I no longer work at novell.com and thus have no access to that Email address anymore.

I would have several ways to sort of "prove" my identity: e.g. I could send a gpg-signed email with the key that was used for <email address hidden> (which was basically an alias for <email address hidden>), if that's necessary.

Basically I'd like to have the accounts "seife" and "stefan-seyfried" merged into the "seife" account, but using the login information of the "stefan-seyfried" account :)

Thanks,

Stefan
