Thank you very much for highlighting this to us. This is done.

I contacted the user an explained:

Several gmail and yahoo users lost
control of their mail accounts this year and sent spam to Launchpad. Two
users confirmed that they had a javascript virus in their browser and it
used their accounts to send emails. The emails were found in their
outbox/sent folders.

The standard policy is to SUSPEND compromised account. I am delaying
this action because the previous attacks were low frequency and I think
we have a day to fix this.

The previous victims updated their email and desktop passwords. They
purged browser cache or started a new profile. Can you confirm tha tyou have done this?

The user has confirmed that he has purged browser cache and updated passwords for several env/machines. He has a windows machine that still needs updating.

Can you help with this problem?
