Need user ban from translations

Asked by xapantu

Orginally posted by Auria :
At project https://translations.launchpad.net/stk , we are having trouble with user 386sky. He is submitting garbage translations from Google Translations in several languages which he obviously does not speak. Is there a possibility to block this particular user without having to restrict translation access and thus need to ask all of our other (good) translators to first request authorisation ?

Thanks for your help!

Have you tried talking to the user directly? Maybe it's just an honest mistake (he/she is not aware that that is very bad for translations).

If the user doesn't want to cooperate, we can probably disable their account altogether. If you want, we can also delete all the translations he's done (though we'd have to make a special request for that).

For reference, user page is https://launchpad.net/~seotaewong40 and he's done more google translate work in the past: https://translations.launchpad.net/etracer/trunk/+pots/etracer/mk/+filter?person=seotaewong40

Can you help with this problem?
