Upload to my PPA doesn't show anything

Asked by Craig Sparks

I have some debianized source that I want to upload to my PPA.
I have activated my PPA, uploaded mu GPG key etc.

When I upload the *.changes file, it seems to work ok, but when I try to access my PPA via the launchpad website, it
reports that I do not have any uploads...

here is my dput.conf:
[my-ppa]
fqdn = ppa.launchpad.net
incoming = ~craig-reahl/ubuntu/
login = anonymous

I have also tried : upload.dogfood.launchpad.net
as fqdn.

Thanks to anyone who spots my mistake.

Craig.

Never mind, it seems that the build failed, and I just received the mail.

Will try to solve it further

It seems I used the "dogfood" fgdn as described in the docs, but seems it changed to pp.launchpad.net in my absence.
Now the next issues is the build error i get:

Rejected:
Unable to find distroseries: unstable
Signer has no upload rights at all to this distribution.

(Its in my debian/changelog file, not sure what I should be using)

You should upload to gutsy or feisty ("unstable" is a Debian distro series).

Yes thanks, I managed to figure that out too, apologies for not posting the right info.

Here it is:

For me to get it to work, I had to change my debian/changelog like this:

gtk-to-kde-proxysync (1.0) feisty; urgency=low

  * Initial release. (Thanks to Theo R. Fourie)
