google map does not show up for team?

Hello,

there used to be team map on the team main page that showed locations of members (who had their location set).

I can't find the map in the current version of launchpad (https://launchpad.net/~yade-users), and the special map page https://launchpad.net/~yade-users/+map does not show the map either.

I verified from 2 different locations to make sure it is not a problem of blocking google maps access or such, with the same result.

Is it a temporary problem, planned feature or a bug?

Google maps were permanently removed. They cost too much. There are not plans to replace them. I updated bug 264138 with information that can help someone provide an OSM replacement.
