Help on transferring a project from one driver to another

Asked by Timmie

Hello,
who can help me with this question:

I would like to consolidate and configure the following projects:
https://edge.launchpad.net/grass
https://edge.launchpad.net/grass6

I have a email from the original drivers that they'd agree. But one has completely lost credentials and access information to Launchpad.

https://lists.launchpad.net/launchpad-users/msg06075.html

Thanks in advance.

Neither the project or project group have a driver. Are you asking to be the maintainer of both the project and the project group?

These two things cannot be consolidated as /grass is a group of projects, though only /grass6 is in the group. /grass6 could be removed from the group and /grass disabled.

Yes. That's it.

I would like to have:

The team ~grass (already exists) and the project /grass where I will create a series for grass6 and so forth.

/grass6 will be removed.

How can we achieve that?

Thanks for your help.

1. An admin renames /grass to /grass-old
2. An admin makes ~grass the owner of /grass
3. You use Change details and to remove grass-old from the "Part of" field
You can also update the details of the project
4. I deactivate /grass-old and then rename /grass6 to /grass

We must wait for the admins to rename the project group and change the owners to complete the tasks in this question.

I cannot subscriber users to a question. We can do what you want, but we need to wait for a launchpad admin to do their part. Admins and I have dealt with requests like yours. We know we need to move objects out of the way to complete your request.

Hi: I renamed /grass to /grass-old, and ~grass is already the owner.

What else do you need me to do?

Thank you, Stefan
