Package building stuck

Asked by Fortunato Ventre

Hi,
3 days ago I uploaded a new kernel on my repository.
While the i386 packages have been built with no errors, the amd64 build process is stuck since then, with an unrecoverable error.

Can you check it please?

Here is the PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~voria/+archive/ppa

and here is the build log:
https://launchpad.net/~voria/+archive/ppa/+build/1994999

Thanks.

We've killed it.

The problem is that the build requires more disk space that is available on the build machine. While the machine should detect this and fail the build itself (bug 655630), the machines do have plenty of space generally so the package is possibly buggy.

This is strange.
I've uploaded a lot of kernels on the repository, but this is the first time I face this problem.

The package is based on the official Ubuntu sources with just some minor changes, anyway nothing that can compromise the package, so I really don't understand where the problem can be.

Well, I'll try to upload a new version of it and check if everything goes well.

BTW, thanks for the fast asnwer! :)

Well, I've uploaded the same kernel again and this time everything went good.
So, I think the problem can be considered solved.
