My emails sent to bugcontrol mailing list are never delivered

The emails I sent to <email address hidden> are never delivered. They don't even reach the moderation queue (verified with the ML moderator) while they are delivered to other ML in copy (bugsquad, ubuntu-devel) I don't even receive a mail delivery failure message.

e.g the following message

I use Canonical's smtp server.
My email client is thunderbird

The email address you are sending from is not registered with launchpad--launchpad cannot identify that you are a Launchpad user and you are subscribed. You can register it, or use one of the email address you have registered,
