mirroring

Asked by PocketSam

Hello! I'm thinking of creating a local mirror of Ubuntu distro in my metropolitan network. The only thing I have to know to make a decision is an approximate volume of traffic per month to keep my mirror relevant? So can you answer me as soon as you can! Thanks a lot!

No.. Not universe. It would be hard for me. It's possible in future, but not today. =(
I would like to create a mirror for my city. And I need to know the traffic volume per month I'll need to be able to download updates to my server. Traffic in my metropolitan network is free to it's members, and I would like to be a local mirror for them.
Hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for my English.

As I know, you can create a mirror with a 1Mb/month without problem.

Thanks for your answer, Fabio!
If anyone can add anything, please feel free to help me. =) Or maybe somebody even owns a mirror? Got statistics?
