Could you setup a new team of translators for Ubuntu in the Dutch language?

Asked by Robert Hakkens

I would like to take part in a new team of translators (launchpad) to translate the various menu's and text into the Dutch language (Ubuntu Zorin). I saw that such a team does not exist yet so with this mail I'd also like to ask if a team for translating into Dutch could be formed?

Looking forward to your reply.

Kind Regards,

Robert Hakkens

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your request and the interest in translating applications in Launchpad.

You will need to create a Launchpad Dutch Translators team, and get it appointed in the Launchpad Translators group. Here is how you can do it:

  https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/LaunchpadTranslators#StartingTeam

I'd also recommend you to get in touch with the Dutch Ubuntu translators, to start up with a team of members already experienced in translations. I'd suggest adding the ubuntu-l10n-nl team to the new lp-l10n-nl team. I've already got you in contact with them on the reply to your direct e-mail this morning.

If you need help in any of the steps, please feel free to ask!

Regards,
David.
