SABnzbd Norwegian translation not imported

Asked by shypike

Recently I setup translations for SABnzbd (https://translations.launchpad.net/sabnzbd).
All PO files from our development branch were imported, except the Norwegian translation.
These files are still in the import queue for "review", while all the other files
were processed within an hour or so.
Is this an accident? Does a native speaker need to check the files?

BTW: I saw that Thai and Lao translations were setup also (empty).
Who decides which translations will be started?

The Norwegian translations were not approved because effectively, "Norwegian" (code: no) does not exist as a language. There are two separate Norwegian languages: Bokmål (code: nb) and Nynorsk (code: nn). You'll have to find out which these translations are, and adjust the language code accordingly. It's probably nb but we can't make an automatic guess on your behalf and risk messing up your translations.

I started the Thai and Lao translations myself; there's not much in them but they're not completely empty. There's not enough data to become visible in the statistics bars, but they have fewer untranslated strings than some other languages.

All translations are effectively started as soon as you set up translation, unless you disallow them through the combination of permission setting and translation group. However the overviews will hide translations for which there is no translation data yet (except for your preferred languages, which are always shown).

OK, I get it.
My guess is that it is Bokmål, but I will verify this with the original translator.
After that I'll delete the current "no" files and replace them with "nn" or "nb".
Thanks for clarifying.
