arm builds

Asked by kazzmir

My package builds a binary so I specified 'any' for the Architecture field in my debian/control file.

Architecture: any

When Launchpad builds my package it creates amd64, x86, and lpia .deb files. How can I get Launchpad to build other architectures, ppc, arm, etc ? Do I have to manually specify them in the control file? If so, why aren't they automatically built by specifying 'any' ?

The PPA service only provides i386 and amd64 builders (and lpia for older ubuntu releases). The armel PPA builders you can see are restricted to certain users since they are very slow and fragile.

Can you help with this problem?
