Recopying of deb-package fails due to existing files.

Asked by Adrian Stachowski

After a crashed build process in ppa:ast/scst I tried to copy the same package from ppa:ast/test where the package "linux" built perfectly.
This is not possible due to several restrictions I suspect.
Even after deleting the package "linux" in ppa:ast/scst I'm not able to recopy the according package from ppa:ast/test.

If there are conflicting files (same files but with different contents) then the copy will be denied. Your only option is to bump the version on the source in the ppa:ast/test PPA. You cannot rely on deleting the package in the target PPA since any clients downloading it would get confused if they saw the same file with different contents.

Can you help with this problem?
