I don't have permission to access bug 375313

I submitted a bug and got a reply that said it is the same as bug 375313. When I try to go to the bug it says that access is denied and that I do not have permission to see that page. Is there any way that I can get the restriction removed or the bug modified that I may view it and see if it is the same or there is something that I may be able to add to it.

this only happen when the bug isn't public
you need to contact some one who have access to the bug like the reporter of the bug

Hi Michael,

I can't see that bug either, so I can't help you discover who to
contact. I suggest you mark your bug as not a duplicate, with a
comment along the lines of:

  This bug was marked as a duplicate of bug 375313. However, that bug
  is private and I cannot see it, so I have no way to follow the
  progress of it. If you mark this bug as a duplicate of a private bug
  again, please be sure to subscribe me.

Okay is there a person that can mark the bug to be seen or edit it so that we can see it?

I have to assume that bug 375313 has been marked as private for a good
reason, so I don't think it's right for me to try and bypass those
controls.

I know that's less than useful for you, and is an example of why bug
privacy should be used sparingly or in very specific circumstances.

Having said that, if your bug has been picked up as a duplicate it's
quite likely that bug 375313 is for the same project. Try going to the
bugs page for your project [1] where you'll find links to the bug
supervisor and/or the security contact for the project, and there the
means to contact them.
