I'm a mailing list admin; a mail we confidential data has been posted by mistake, how can we remove it?

I think you are asking to remove a message from an list archive. There is no way to do this from Launchpad. The archiver is mhonarc and if you provide the message ids and the list names I can ask an admin to attempt to remove them (you can send the message directly to me). I do not know for certain that this can be done.

I just got confirmation that messages can be deleted. We need to know the team names and the message id for each team's list.

the requested messages have been deleted from the specified archives, though they are still showing up on the web. possibly a caching issue.

Thank you very much, let see if the next cache flush will remove them from
the web indeed.

Can we delete the two problem pages? We could also ask barry if there is a trick to regenerating the pages.

I don't really understand your question, yes you can delete the two pages. I
still see them on the internet despite they might have been removed from the
database. So it looks like it's still in the cache.

Sorry. My question is for the admins. A visible page is still a problem and I think an admin needs to delete the page or find the secret to regenerating the archive.

The messages in question appear to be removed now.
Raphaël, can you please confirm this?
