Cannot change Launchpad username.

I do not have any PPAs but I have the same issue as others; I would like to change my id to cassidyjames instead of cassidy-james-blaede. Upon attempting to change it, I get an error page stating:

"Not allowed here
Sorry, you don't have permission to access this page.

You are logged in as Cassidy James."

How do I go about changing my id?

Note: I was subscribed to a private PPA and thought that might be what was preventing the change. I removed my subscription and still am unable to change my username.
