Hi Nicholas,

We'll get to work on this as soon as we can, however this won't be
until next week (beginning 13th September) at the earliest due to this
being a rollout week for Launchpad.

Regards,

Graham

Hi Nicholas,

I tried to download your bug.xml but get a Network Unreachable error. Can you put the XML file somewhere that I can download it, please?

Hi Nicholas,

I've tried running the import locally and I've come across a lot of errors with empty email addresses. You've got things like this: <reporter email="" />, which the importer can't cope with (because basically it says that the bug has no reporter, which makes no sense).

The log of the import is here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/491523/. Please fix the empty email addresses and I'll re-try the import for you.

Cheers,

Graham

Hi Nicolas,

I have tested the export from http://valide.googlecode.com/files/bugs.xml this afternoon and there were still a few empty email addresses. Specifically bugs 152 and 164 have empty reporter email addresses, and several empty comment sender email addresses.

Unfortunately the bug-export.rnc grammar (mentioned in the instructions at https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/ImportFormat) does not mandate an email address, though I think it should. I have filed bug 687341 to fix this.

Please fix the export data and let me know when it's ready to try again.

Gavin.
