is there a URL to get a read-only view of a bug?

when bug reports get mentioned in news articles this tends to send a stream of readers to the bug page with the comment form visible. Would it be possible to have a link that goes to a read-only view so all the previous comments are visible, but there is no form to add a new comment and no way to change the statuses. The reader could go to the regular bug URL if they really want to leave a constructive comment.

Hi, all.

I don't think we would ever create a read only version of a bug page. I do understand there are issues with certain classes of noisy bugs, and we should explore how to make this better. There are a few open bugs on malone about ideas that could help with noisy bugs.
