Karma degrades over time (https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/Karma) and that is part of the reason that your karma goes down.

You do get karma for commits on branches, but Launchpad has to be able to match up the commits with your account, which means that they email address in the committer needs to match with an email address that Launchpad has linked to your account.

Launchpad will automatically link the commits to the account with which
the email address was associated.

Take a look at on of your branches, and look at the recent revisions near the
bottom of the page. If the author is a hyperlinked person name, then the
revision is linked. If not, the email address part of the author isn't known
to Launchpad.

You can then add the email address by going to your personal page in
launchpad (click on the login name in the top right) and adding any
additional email addresses needed.

Can you help with this problem?
