Where are my Ubuntu hardware test results?

Asked by Edwin Stamm

I wanted by computer's specs. I chose the "System" button on the bottom of my Ubuntu screen, then "Administration" and then "Hardware Testing". It told me after I ran the test that I could get my results by setting up a Launchpad account. I did, but couldn't find the results. I ran the test again (maybe you need the Launchpad account set up first?), but still no results. What am I doing wrong?

Actually, maybe it told me before I ran the test that I needed a Launchpad account. But I had one the second time I did the test.

Can anyone give some hints about how to resolve hardware bugs that are not working? i.e sound, video, or other peripherals?
