Mailing list for ubuntu-cr team

Hello launchpad admins,

We are reactivating the Costa Rica Ubuntu LoCo team. The first step was to get the ownership of the team, and thanks to the assistance of the loco council now I'm the owner.

Now, we like all members to be added to the team, and start using the mailing list, blueprints and branches.

But when I try to configure the mailing list I get this message: "The application for this team's mailing list has been declined. Please contact a Launchpad administrator for further assistance."

So I'm contacting you. Could you please enable our mailing list?

We currently have a list in lists.ubuntu.com. But due to the abandonment of the team by the previous leaders, it's just full of spam. We want this to be a mailing list to work on the projects of the loco, so having it as a team in launchpad seems a better way. As soon as you enable this list, I will ask the admins of lists.ubuntu.com to close the other one.
