Setting the mailing list in the team page

Hi,

I am trying to set the mailing list for our team. When I click on "Configure mailing list" link I get the following error:

The application for this team's mailing list has been declined. Please contact a Launchpad administrator for further assistance.

We already have a mailing list https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-eg

Can anyone tell me how to set that mailing list on the team page ?

Mailing list for Ubuntu LoCo teams should be created on lists.ubuntu.com, that's why their creation on lists.launchpad.net is disabled.

I am not sure what u meant by that. I don't need to create a list the list is already created. I just can't add the mailing list information to the team page.

Launchpad only supports the mailing lists it hosts. Ubuntu has asked that Launchpad advise users not create lists for Ubuntu teams, the Ubuntu and Launchpad needs are not compatible. Most Ubuntu teams list their mailing list in their team decription field
