Release OpenGPG key from disabled account

Asked by Aleksandar Urošević

Old, deactivated account: 'urke-kg-deactivatedaccount' (autorenamed from 'urke-kg')
My first account: 'urosevic' (renamed from 'urke')
Auto created account when importing the Serbian (sr) translation of inkscape in Ubuntu Edgy package "inkscape": 'urke-users'

I removed OpenGPG key from my account 'urke-kg-deactivatedaccount' and then deactivated it because merging with account 'urosevic' timed out for several times. But then I got a problem with 'The key *** has already been imported'.

Please purge accounts 'urke-kg-deactivatedaccount' and 'urke-users' so I can import my OpenGPG key, or remove key as in question https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/65814

TIA

Do we know how to delete or reasign a GPG key?

I have deleted the gpg key associated with the urke-kg-deactivatedaccount account. There was no key associate with the urke-users account.

You should be fine to import your key on the desired user account now.
