The ubuntu-br.am team mailing list could not be created.
The ubuntu-br.am [1] team mailing list was strangely disabled.
I tried to reactive the list [2] and I got the message:
"This team's mailing list will be available within a few minutes."
Few minutes later I returned and I received a new message:
"This team's mailing list could not be created. Please contact a Launchpad administrator[3] for further assistance."
What's happening?

Ayrton Araujo

The team was renamed in the past, which breaks mailing lists. I think we can purge the old list and you can create a new one. Do you want me to do this?

Hi Mr. Hovey,
The team was renamed in the past? I can't remember this.
In fact, was made a request to rename this team in the last month[1].
I would like if you do these things if you can first rename the group to ubuntu-br-am according to the request of the regional council of ubuntu-br in name of Laudeci Oliveira[1].
Mr. Oliveira say that Michael Barnett found a bug related with mailing list.
Was made a bug report on launchpad with informations about this bug? If yes, I would like to know the address of the report to link it in this question for cataloging purposes.

I cannot do any renaming. Only an Admin can do that. I assummed that the project eas renamed because the question is marked solved. I will assign this to a admin. He will need to purge the mailing list to rename the team

I think all is ok now and I renamed the team.
The team members voted to keep the mailing list of the team in the google groups.
