QFriendsLOL is now OpenFilepad

Asked by Sami Saada

We changed our project name to be much relevant for its product. So could you change our project url and its branches from qfriendslol to openfilepad?

I assigned the task to an admin. We want to add an alias for "QFriendsLOL" so bookmarks continue to work.

I have renamed this project and added an alias back for the original name. Everything seems to be working as requested now.

After project renaming I can no longer get the contents of this branch. What went wrong? How can we fix this?

bzr remmembers the old location. I think you need to do a this:
    cd my/local/path/contrib
    bzr pull --remember lp:~openfilepad-maintainers/openfilepad/contrib
to get the latest changes and update the meta data. Or you can start a new branch
   bzr branch lp:~openfilepad-maintainers/openfilepad/contrib
The team members may need to update their .bazaar/locations.conf if they have set the old path as a location.

I decided to go with the new branch option, but it does not work. Here is the error message I get...

cyberix@eval:~$ bzr branch lp:~openfilepad-maintainers/openfilepad/contrib
bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "bzr+ssh://bazaar.launchpad.net/~qfriendslol-maintainers/qfriendslol/main/".

This has to do with the branch stacking. Everything should be OK now.

Can you help with this problem?
