[SOLVED] Launchpad frustrating to sign up with.

Ubuntu forum requires an account to download files. Launchpad provides account for Ubuntu forum. Went to sign up for OpenID through Launchpad.

Launchpad doesn't work on Chrome, running on Ubuntu. No captcha is displayed. Used the bloated piece of junk that is Firefox. Went to email (in Chrome) and clicked on link. Launchpad requires same browser. Typed url in by hand. Finally worked, except, died when I pressed continued.

Edit #2:
Same browser = error about token; for some reason, sign up tracks this. Why?! Version of Chrome attempted to use on Ubuntu didn't display ANY captcha. It works just fine on the Windows version of Chrome, though. Likely not important. Still had to create an account on ubuntu forums to post, making the reason for me signing up for a launchpad account in the first place moot.

Launchpad+Chrome+Ubuntu+captcha is fine for me. Perhaps you should file a bug.

You might not be able to delete the question, but you've already discovered that you can edit it, so you could always delete the text and then mark it as Solved.
