migrating 2 LoCo teams in launchpad into one
Hey there,
our LoCo has a very long past, and because of it we are currently having 2 LoCo teams in Launchpad. is it possible to migrate those into one team?
first team: https:/
second team: https:/
the second team is the active one, and it's the one we want to use.
Thanks,
Ddorda (PoC of Ubuntu-IL)

- merge ~ubuntu-israel into ~ubuntu-il

An admin can merge ~ubuntu-israel into the active ~ubuntu-il

the problem is that Adam is not active for years, no chance to catch him to do it...

There are 2 errors.
* ubuntu-israel has super teams, so it can't be merged.
* ubuntu-israel is associated with a Launchpad mailing list; we can't merge it.
Yuk. Will chase; but updating with the above failure for now.

I purged the mailing list. Can Ddorda be made the other team owner? He could remove the team from the other two teams then we can complete the merge.

Hi,
I've done the merge now.
While I *could* just re-add the newly merged group back into it's super groups; I suspect that may be the wrong thing to do.
fwiw, -israel was a member of:
locoteams-approved https:/
locoteams https:/
I would urge requesting re-admission to those groups; if deemed appropriate; and pointing back to this Answer request as to Why.
Cheers!
