Launchpad itself

Only 3 architectures are supported?

I have not found information which architectures are supported by Launchpad. I searched for "supported architectures" but got no results.
When the built is ready only 3 architectures are there: amd64 and i386 and lp... What about sparc or arm?

I specified architecture any in my control file, so I guess currently only 3 architectures are supported?

Hi Karsten,

Yes, the two supported arches are documented at:

https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA

The reason for this is also provided there as: "We use the Xen virtualization system for security during the build process, ensuring that each build has a clean build environment and different developers cannot impact on one another's builds accidentally. This technology is only available for these architectures."
