Please remove subscriptions and mailing list from ~mono

Asked by Iain Lane

Hi,

~ubuntu-cli-mono-dev would like to take over the ubuntu-mono mailing list as the team of CLI/Mono developers in Ubuntu now. ~mono currently has this mailing list as its contact address. This team is largely defunct now.

Please could you
  * Move the <email address hidden> contact address from ~mono to ~ubuntu-cli-mono-dev
  * Remove all bug subscriptions from ~mono so that the individual team members don't get flooded

Thanks,
Iain

The email addresses that belong to ~mono need deleting via sql. there may be just one: ubuntu-motu@lists.ubuntu.com

I am not sure what we can do to help. This issues looks like one that you should be working with the owner or admins of ~mono to resolve. I think you need to ask an admin of that team to remove the email address (Launchpad just hides the address). A Launchpad admin can then do a db delete to remove the unused email address address. Then you could reregister it.

If you were a member of ~mono (it is an open team and you can join), you could unsubscribe the team from the bugs listed at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/~mono/+subscribedbugs

Sure. I was just hoping you could press the buttons easier than I can.

(not bug subscriptions, package bug subscriptions. I wasn't clear there)

Hiya,

We have performed all of the operations on ~mono that we are able to. There is a bug #250103 that the email is not able to be fully deleted from ~mono to be moved over.

Please could a LOSA perform a DB delete of the email address so that we are able to set it as the contact address of ~ubuntu-cli-mono-dev?

Thanks,
Iain
