Remove series / blueprints / other stuff without having to ask?

Asked by DARKGuy

Hey people :)

Launchpad is great and all, it has lots of projects, lots of people, lots of opensource power inside...

But it's missing an **__important__** feature: Deletion of unneeded stuff, tests, etc. Why? I've been tinkering with my iteam projects with some friends and all, and I accidentally created an "unstable" serie without much idea of what it was (another thing, you need to be more descriptive on each parameter you ask for... not everyone knows what you mean, even if it looks too "duh!")... so been looking for some link (as there is a lack of images too... you know those 16x16 useful icons that can describe actions and you can put in useful places to guide users and make it more user-friendly? those :P) to delete it and haven't found anything.

I went to the IRC and someone suggested I'd set the blueprint to deprecated or something so that would hide it... that's a workaround, I can live with that, but it seems I can't delete the serie and looking at the lots of remove requests... don't know, I prefer to delete the stuff I don't need, the testing stuff, whatever, without having to ask someone else - it's like, if you have no control over your project even when you create it, and that my friends, discourages a lot of users... like me.

I hope these words do not remain in vain and something is done about it - Launchpad is a really useful tool, but it could be even, even more with something as small as that.

Thank you for raising this problem. It's one we're aware of, and we're beginning to work on it. It may take a while, though, because each different type of thing needs its removability implemented separately.

Can you help with this problem?
