transfer ownership of the blender project

I have set up a team named bf-committers on launchpad that will be used by the blender developers to manage the blender project on launchpad. Would you please transfer the blender project on launchpad to bf-committers.The current maintainer has not responded to email. It appears they are no longer actively involved in the project. No changes to the project have been made in over a year.

I would like to set up bugtracking for blender using the launchpad bugtracker. The absentee maintainer makes this impossible

The bf-committers team has now been set as the maintainer of the Blender project in Launchpad.
