Shared Repository on Launchpad

I am working on a large project that is hosten on launchpad. It took me approximately 15 minutes to do the initial push of the trunk. Unfortunately, I also takes the same amount of time to push branches of the trunk. Is it possible to create a shared repository on launchpad to cut down the initial push of branches?

I did something wrong when I tested branching. I figured out that staging is used if do it correctly. Pushing branches of the trunk is really fast!
