Deleting "gscreendump" project from the Launchpad.

Asked by moma

Hello,

I would like to remove my "gscreendump" project from the Launchpad.
https://launchpad.net/gscreendump

The original Gscreendump code is still active on http://code.google.com/p/gscreendump/

I have started a work to convert Gscreendump from C/GTK to Python/PyGTK + (PyCairo | PyClutter).
While doing this I'll also rename the project to something different ("sally" sounds like a good name).
I'll put it on the Launchpad when this new code is mature enough.

Kindly
  Moma Antero

Hi moma,

I have deactivated the project, as you requested.

The project is still in our database, so if you would like to reactivate the project at a later time, then please let us know.

Best,
mars

P.S. Did you consider keeping the old project around, and simply pointing the homepage at the new project site? May be worth considering if you have active users, or people interested in the code. Perhaps someone else will pick the project up.

Thank you for deactivating the GScreendump project .

Google code ( http://code.google.com/p/gscreendump/ ) has the most updated code. I will update it's webpage and inform about the new project when that time comes.

Case solved.
