Every time we've investigated this we've found a broken HTTP server or
proxy; I know the LP datacentre ones are good, which does mean something
in the middle. We've filed bugs/fixed things for all the cases we've run
into - so for this case it really looks like either a new product [in
which case Paul should raise a support ticket there] or an old version
of a known product like squid :)
